South Croydon Allotment Society

At the South Croydon Allotment Society there are 191 plots varying in size from 4 to 11 rods.

A rod is a traditional measure of allotment area and is approximately 25m

 

There are currently 216 people on the waiting list but this figure fluctuates.

Given the current size of the waiting list you my have to wait 4 years or more before being offered a plot.

Please ensure that you are willing to commit to the time necessary to prepare and maintain the plot.

You will need to visit a minimum of 2 or 3 times a week to maintain the plot and initially a lot more to establish it.
