The main entrance to South Croydon Allotments is on Sanderstead Road adjacent to the Brighton line railway bridge and approximately 200 yards from Sanderstead railway station. Limited car parking is available on site.
Proceeding along the Brighton Road from Croydon to Brighton, take a left turn at the Red Deer onto Sanderstead Road. The road passes under the London to Brighton railway line and the main entrance to the site is on the left immediately after passing under the bridge and before the left hand turning into Broomhall Road.
The site is open to the public each Sunday between 10.00am and 12.00noon and visitors are welcome.
Where are we?
Trading Hut
The Trading Hut is open from 10:00 to 12:00 each Sunday morning to members only. Anyone who is not a member by virtue of being a plot-holder may join the Society as an Associate Member (subscription currently £3.00 per year). Associate members have full access to the Trading Hut.
The Hut has a large range of gardening supplies at very competitive prices. If there is anything not currently on the list which you would like to see please contact David Coram. To see the current price list, please click here.
We sell seeds and potatoes at greatly reduced prices.
If you are interested in taking on a plot on South Croydon Allotments then contact us. Currently there are no vacant plots and we have 50 people on the waiting list, which means you will probably have to wait about 12 months to get a plot if you join the waiting list now.
However, you can join the society as an Associate Member for an annual membership fee of £3.00 which allows you to purchase garden supplies at very competitive prices from our Trading Hut.
